I came up with the idea to draw a path for the bot to follow.

Process is as follows:

1) Using the mouse we draw a path on the screen.

2) As the path is drawn the X and Y coordinates are saved into a MDB database.

3) You can then play back the path you have just...

Dear: CKR

It all started when I 3d printed a human skull. I noticed there were a ton of problems with it. It was dang slow and even when it was printing fast it did a poor job printing. That is why I am making a new 3D printer. This 3D printer is an sla 3D printer of my own design. It...

OVERVIEW

Ok, this is not a robot. It doesn't move, talk, sing, listen, burn down houses or other robotic things. It does look kind of cool and flashes menancingly at you with it's multi color flashing, dancing LED. Scary enough isn't it? This is just a little side project to play with.

TWEETY BOT

Built 11/2015

Tweety Bot started out an a much more ambitious project.

I would hope so I guess since all he actually does is sit around and Tweet. Anyhow, the original goal was to build a birdy bot that could sit on your arm or shoulder and use a gryo/accel sensor to...

My first attempt at a "headbot", he has PIR sensors for eyes and will follow motions around him. Very beta at this point. Have decided he will be a Deskside Annoyance Robot, and am using some speech to text routines for the Propeller.

7 watt Vellman amplifier and a speaker on a...

October 2015 - The Resurection

After having issues with the old laptop running Box Head, I pulled it offline and stuck the laptop in the server room. Box Head sat for two long years as other robots, life, old cars, and other projects got in the way. With a renewed interest in robotics...

A little lab controller PCB I'm working on. It centers around four high-power constant current circuits meant to be driven by an Atmega328's PWM.

I hate working on anything mechanical in dim light; comes from dropping parts down under the engine when working on cars. I'm also...
