As some of you may remember I posted a robot last year for the AFRIKABOT competition. This is the entry for 2017.
Usb to serial is onboard. There is also an adittional microcontroller to serve as a servo controller.
Eight of the IO gets taken out to a header next to a prototyping area, with headers for wheel encoders and power.
The chassis was cut from PVC sheet on a cnc milling machine and I used a smooth bead for a castor wheel.
It has a line following sensor and an arm to pick up a "fuel token", but I will let the pictures do most of the talking!
