RoboPi adds an eight-core 32-bit microcontroller running at 100Mhz to the Raspberry Pi in order to off-load hard real time I/O and allow more precise timing than Linux running on the Pi allows.

RoboPi supports:

  • all current Raspberry Pi Models:
    Model A, Model A+, Model B, Model B+
  • Banan Pi, Banana Pro, BPi M1
  • ODROID-C1, ODROID-XU4
  • LeMaker Guitar
  • MIPS CI20
  • stand-alone operation with a PropPlug

RoboPi has:

  • 24 FlexIO, each of which can independently be:
servo, pwm, ping, digital in, digital out (5V safe)
  • 8 channels of 12 bit analog input (5V)
  • C/C++ and Python API similar to Wiring
